Travel Guide: 8 Must-visit Destinations in India

After working round the clock and getting your work done, we all need to break free and cut some slack. Do things that we have been keeping aside for long like travelling to places that you haven't seen before.

All of us crave adventure, starve to explore new places. So if you have got the right wheels (be it an ATV or a pre owned Rolls Royce Car), what are you waiting for, there are some really cool places in India that are worth exploring, some of them are listed below:


1. Coorg

Living in Karnataka and are dead bored of your daily life, beat the pressure and find peace around nature. Visit Coorg and let the nature revive you. While you are there, do remember to recharge your batteries with some locally grown delicious tea.

2. Dzukou Valley

Situated at the border of Manipur and Nagaland, the Dzukou valley is known for its natural beauty, and the overall flora and fauna. It derives its name from the Angami/Mao word which translates to ĎCold Waterí that refers to the ice cold stream that flows through the valley.

3. Goa

Goa is one travel destination in India that needs no introduction. Known for its sunny beaches, there are a lot of things to look forward to doing in Goa, like visiting the Sunburn Festival, Dudhsagar waterfalls and doing all sorts of adventure water sports.



4. Kashmir

Known as the heaven on earth, Kashmir is the most beautiful place in the whole world. Snowy mountains, stunning locations and Kahwa (local tea), these are loads of things to look forward to while you are there.

5. Kasol

Often called the Amsterdam of India, Kasol is one of the most serene places in the country. Enjoy the fresh air, the mountains, the Israeli food and the jam sessions on the banks of Parvati river will be a memory of a lifetime.

6. Leh-Ladakh

Streams of ice-cold water, snow-covered mountain peaks and glacial melts make Leh a perfect travel destination. When in Ladakh do check out the Pangong Lake and experience the cotton candy clouds around you. Also, try the Yak Safari to navigate your gang through the glacial valleys. Since you canít visit this place again and again (unless you are madly in love with it), make sure you go there at least once.

7. Malana

One trip to Malana is enough to make you fall in love with this place. Its picturesque locations and history, make it a must-visit travel destination. Itís situated near Kullu in Himachal Pradesh and is one of the oldest democracies of the world. The †locals there believe that they are the descendants of the Greek soldiers of Alexander's army and therefore, they donít follow Indian governance.

8. Puducherry

Puducherry is known for its amazing architecture and aura that reflects the styling of the colonial times of the Portuguese, Dutch and French. There is no doubt that itís a wonderful place.
